Fleming Town Supervisor Passes Away

Fleming Town Supervisor Don Oltz has died. According to his obituary, the 78-year-old passed away Saturday at Upstate Community Hospital in Syracuse.

A retired electrician and former Cayuga County sheriff’s deputy, Oltz was serving his second term as town supervisor. He also spent 10 years as Niles town justice and was active in local fire departments and Four Town Ambulance.

Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home in Auburn.
