Another Finger Lakes community is celebrating its bicentennial.

The Town of Fleming will celebrate its 200th anniversary this Sunday. Town Clerk Anita Casper told Finger Lakes News Radio it’s a great way to see the town’s past and present.

“It’ll be a great opportunity for people that live in Fleming and anywhere else around the surrounding area to learn about the history and learn about the farming and everything that happens in Fleming, Casper said”

The event runs from 11:00a-3:00p at the Route 34 Masonic Lodge and will feature local officials, historic memorabilia, and food vendors.
