The City of Auburn’s Firefighter’s Mass returns to Willard Memorial Chapel this month.
The service honors the city’s firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The mass will be held Wednesday the 29th at 7:00p, the 63rd anniversary of the gas station explosion at the corner of Lincoln and South Streets that claimed the lives of three firefighters – Lieutenant Alfred H Murphy and Firefighters Anthony Contrera and John F Searing.
