A public meeting will be held at the end of the month for the upcoming repaving of the Arterial highway in Auburn.

City Clerk Chuck Mason says it is a significant project that the State Department of Transportation is seeking public input on.  That opportunity will come on April 30th from 5 until 7 p.m. at Auburn Fire Station #1.

The project is the repaving of a 2.67-mile stretch of Routes 5 & 20 between Route 326 on the west and the intersection of Standart/Grant Avenue on the east. The construction is anticipated to begin in June 2026 and last for the entire construction seasons of 2026 and 2027.

A project overview and design plans will be presented at this public meeting.
