Has Auburn’s downtown fully recovered from the effects of the three year COVID-19 pandemic? Stephanie DeVito with the Business Improvement District says yes.

Speaking with Finger Lakes News Radio, DeVito said downtown is seeing a strong return to pre-pandemic visitor and revenue levels.

She contributes the success to the return of events attracting vendors.

We are seeing such an uptick in the events,” DeVito said, “and participation in events specifically in regards to vendors that are looking for events to participate in.”

Coming out of COVID, Auburn has announced the return of many summer attractions and new events like the chicken wing festival.
