Auburn City Council voted Thursday to adopt its Fiscal Year 2023-27 City Strategic Recovery and Capital Plan.

City Clerk Chuck Mason says it’s an important step for the city’s future, saying “this is a critical document to decide what’s going to happen in the immediate short-term future over the next year for the some of the major purchases but also to forecast things out over the next five years.”

The plan includes upgrades to the city’s sewer system, a new fire truck, and work on the city’s public facilities.
