The Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce has announced is launching a new event for the summer, a Hawaiian-themed picnic.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amy Fuller made the announcement Thursday on FLX Morning, saying the event will provide an evening of Hawaiian-themed summer fun.

“We’re gonna have some fun with this… We’re gonna have some great food; we’re going to have som drink specials and we’re going to have some fun games and some music. It’s just a fun way to spend a summer evening.”

The picnic is scheduled for July 22 from 4:00-7:00p at Prison City North.

Fuller added that more details and registration info will be made available soon.
