Celebrations Continue for Union Springs & Springport Anniversaries

Save room for cake; the celebrations continue for the 175th anniversary of Union Springs and the Town of Springort’s bicentennial.

Bill Hecht will be at the Frontenac Historical Society and Museum for a historical presentation featuring photos, historic documents, news clippings, and more telling the history of both the town and village. Attendees can also have their stories documented to be added to the historical record.

A portrait of local suffragette Zobedia Alleman will also be unveiled before Hecht’s presentation.

The free event starts this Sunday at 7:00p.

Back in August, the village and town held an event at Frontenac Park where State Senator Rachel May them with proclamations celebrating their respective anniversaries.
