Cayuga County Health Director Elected to State Board

Cayuga County’s Public Health Director has been elected to the statewide health officials association.

Kathleen Cuddy has been named as one of five new board members of the New York State Association of County Health Officials. The association represents all 58 local health commissioners and public health directors and serves as a voice for the state’s local health departments.

Cuddy has served as Cayuga County’s public health director since 2014.

The other new members are Sara Boerenko of Montgomery County, Peter Buzzetti III of Chemung County, Gregson Pigott of Suffolk County, and Tyler Shaw of Allegany County.
