The Cayuga Museum is reopening the Case Research Lab for the 2025 season next month.

The lab, where the first commercially viable sound movies were invented, will open for tours on May 7. To help with tours, the museum is seeking volunteer docents to lead the tours. For their service, docents receive free museum membership.

To learn more about becoming a volunteer or to fill out an application, visit the museum’s website or call 315-253-8051.
