The Town of Brutus is looking for teens to join its Youth Conservation Corps this summer.

Town Supervisor Jim Hotaling says it’s not only a job, but also teaches the teens about the environment and life skills. He told Finger Lakes News Radio those skills include creating a schedule, a sense of work ethic, and appreciation for workplace safety that will follow the teens into their adult life.”

The positions are open to 15-18 year olds and you don’t need to be a town resident to apply.

Applications can be picked up at Brutus Town Offices in Weedsport.
