An Auburn festival has once again gained national recognition.

The Brave Brews Festival has been ranked eighth on USA Today’s list of the top ten best beer festivals in the US. A celebration of women and non-binary individuals in the craft beer industry, Brave Brews is a collaboration between multiple entities, including the city’s Historic and Cultural Sites Commission and the Equal Rights Heritage Center. It is also part of their larger Brave Women Week, which features events and specials at participating locations in Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Onartio, Monroe, and Seneca Counties.

The 2025 rendition of the festival ran from March 7-9.

In 2024, the festival placed fifth on the top ten list.
