A Boil Water Notice has been issued for residents in the Consolidated Water District in the Town of Fleming.

The water system lost pressure Tuesday due to a water main break. This increases the chance of untreated water and harmful microbes entering the water.

They expect the notice to remain in effect for the next few days and residents will be notified when boiling water is no longer needed.

The department also adds this order only applies to those on public in the Town’s Consolidated Water District; residents in the Springport No 2 and Fleming No 6 Water Districts are not included in this order.
