Auburn’s Dygert Presented With “Key to the City”

At Thursday night’s Auburn City Council meeting, a Key to the City was presented to City Manager Jeff Dygert, who will officially retire on May 30th.

“City Manager Jeff Dygert is hereby presented with this Key to the City for your 31 years of dedicated service and leadership to the City of Auburn, NY. Your outstanding commitment and tireless dedication is appreciated by our citizens.
Fire Fighter 10/7/94;
Fire Lieutenant 9/9/01;
Fire Captain 5/7/06;
Asst. Fire Chief 5/28/10;
Fire Chief 6/1/2011-10/09/2016; and
City Manager 10/10/2016-5/30/2025.

Jennifer Haines will officially take over as City Manager on May 31st.
