The proposed Auburn City Budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year now stands at $50.8 million. On Friday’s “FLX Morning” on Finger Lakes News Radio, City Clerk Chuck Mason said there’s some good news when it comes to the spending plan presented at Thursday’s City Council meeting by Comptroller Mary Beth Leeson

City Council also approved a resolution Thursday night that might help erase the budget shortfall, and that is offering eligible employees an early retirement incentive.
