Auburn Community Hospital is once again requiring masks.

The move comes in response to rising cases of the Eris COVID-19 variant spreading in the Central New York area.

Masks are now mandatory for all staff, visitors, and patients when in all clinical areas. Clinical areas are defined as spaces where patients gather, receive care, or walk through.

Patients who test positive for COVID-19 will also be restricted to one visitor. That visitor will be required to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE).
