The Auburn Enlarged City School District is looking to name Herman Elementary School’s softball field, and district residents can help.
The district wants to name the field after a coach or player who was a “softball legend.” To this end, the district has created an online nomination form for the public to nominate someone they believe deserves the honor. Paper nomination forms are also available and can be picked up at the administrative office from 8:00a-3:00p Monday through Friday.
The district says nominations must be submitted before August 29.
