Auburn residents can continue to get loans to cover sidewalk, sewer, and other expenses.

City Clerk Chuck Mason explained the low interest loan program on FLX Morning with Ted Maker.

“There is a program that we have where the city will finance the installation of the curbs or the sidewalk and then you can pay it back in five installments over your next five property tax bills,” stated Mason.

Mason adds that there is a focus on areas where the city is working on its annual road program.

City Council voted Thursday to reauthorize the low interest loan program.
