Auburn Awards Contract for Assessment of Owasco Lake Subwatershed

Approval was granted by Auburn City Council on Thursday to award an $85,000 contract for an assessment of the Owasco Lake Subwatershed containing Veness and Sucker Brook. City Clerk Chuck Mason said the assessment is part of the Nine Element Plan that the city, town of Owasco, and Cayuga County have formulated over the years

 

A $75,000 grant awarded to the city by the State DEC will go to help pay for the contract with E.A. Engineering and Ecology.
