The Auburn Fire Department is asking drivers to use caution when driving throughout the city as crews are performing annual maintenance on all of the city’s fire hydrants.

The department adds that flushing the hydrants can sometimes cause cloudy water from taps of nearby neighborhoods. If this happens, they advise running your water for a few minutes to clear it up.

Maintenance is expected to take a few weeks.
