A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday ahead of the upcoming Auburn School District budget vote.
The district will hold the meeting at 7:00p on Tuesday at the Auburn High School Library.
The proposed 2025-26 budget sits at $107,323,677, with the overall budget up 2.8% compared to last year’s. This comes with a tax levy increase of 3.25%. A budget fact sheet prepared by the district can be found here.
The vote will take place on Tuesday, May 20, from 7:00a-9:00p. Voters will not only decide whether or not to approve the budget but also the proposed $7.2 million Capital Improvement Project, and the election of four school board members.
