4-H Seeks Volunteers for Youth Fair

Hands hold a bounty of freshly harvested garden vegetables: red and yellow tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots.
Freshly harvested vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots, are held in hands, illustrating the bounty of a garden.

Your help is needed as Cayuga County’s 4-H program prepares for its annual youth fair next month.

Volunteer judges are needed for non-animal projects at the fair including sewing and upholstery, baked goods, photographs, woodworking, research presentations, and more. Judging will take place at 6:00p on July 31 at the Union Springs Fire Department.

Parking attendants are also needed to maintain accessibility for spectators and exhibitors. Attendants should be 14 years older and can sign up for as little as a one-hour shift.

All interested volunteers are asked to email 4-H Program Lead Sara Wagner at [email protected]. Parking attendants can sign up here.

The Cayuga County 4-H Youth Fair runs August 1-3 at the Union Springs Fire Department.
