Warm weather means more farm vehicles on the road, and the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is reminding motorists to watch for slow-moving vehicles and share the road.

According to the sheriff’s office, there has been a sharp increase in the number of farm vehicles on county roadways due to the change in weather. Because of this, the office is reminding motorists to slow down when encountering slow-moving vehicles and be patient.

Additionally, the sheriff’s office is urging motorists to watch out for increased pedestrian, bicycle, horse and buggy, and motorcycle traffic.
