Bath Woman Facing Contempt and Trespass Charges

Police Blotter

A Bath woman was arrested last Tuesday following an alleged trespass in progress on East William Street.

According to the Village of Bath Police Department, officers responded to the residence on June 1 at approximately 3 p.m. The caller reported an ongoing trespass and stated there was a stay-away order of protection in place preventing the suspect from being at the property. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect inside the home. The suspect was found with injuries and was immediately turned over to medical personnel for treatment.

Following her release from the hospital the next day, June 2, police located 27-year-old Angel Jackson at the Finger Lakes Inn and Suites on W. Morris Street. Jackson was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, both of which are Class A misdemeanors.

Jackson was processed on the charges and subsequently transported to the Steuben County Jail, where she is currently being held on bail.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
