Earn Your Girl Scout Trail Adventure Badge

Calling all Girl Scouts! The Montezuma Audubon Center will be hosting the opportunity to earn your Trail Adventure Badge on Saturday, May 18 at 2PM. This two hour program will include a presentation, hands on activities, and a guided birding walk. To earn the trail adventure badge, the scout will need to:
  • Choose a trail adventure
  • Plan and prepare for the trail adventure
  • Decide what gear to bring on a trail adventure,
  • Learn about how to and why you should train for your trail adventure,
  • How to safely interact with nature while on the trails
This program will be divided up with Daisy- Juniors in one group and Cadette-Ambassadors in the other. This badge is able to be earned by scouts of any level and each group will focus on the requirements for their level. Scouts may come as a troop or as individuals.
Fee: $10/ scout, adult chaperones free.
  • All scouts must be accompanied by a guardian or troop leader.
PROGRAM DATE: May 18, 2024 at 2PM.
Meet at Montezuma Audubon Center (2295 State Route 89, Savannah, NY 13146) and all Girl Scout levels are welcome to participate! Space is limited and registration is required for the program.
