April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
We invite the foster children in our care to “plant” blue pinwheels at a specified location to raise awareness. This year, we are teaming up with the Waterloo Library and Historical Society and will hold the event at their location. The event will take place on Friday, April 26, at 2:30pm, and participants of the library’s elementary afterschool program will be joining us. After the pinwheels are planted, a representative from our agency will say a few words and then refreshments will be served upstairs at Fatzinger Hall.
