Canandaigua Lady Cruise Benefiting Associate Education Fund

CANANDAIGUA – The Thompson Health Guild’s Associate Education Fund will benefit from a Friday, Sept. 5 “Cruise for a Cause” on the Canandaigua Lady.
Open to the public, the 90-minute, scenic boat ride will set off from the Lady’s dock, 205 Lakeshore Drive, at 4:30 p.m. Passengers are asked to arrive by 4 p.m.
Tickets are $35 per person. The boat is handicap accessible with two bathrooms on board. No outside food or beverage is permitted on the boat, which has a full-service bar where snacks and beverages – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – are sold.
A percentage of the proceeds from both cruise tickets and bar sales will benefit the Guild, a nonprofit fundraising organization helping Thompson Health expand its facilities, purchase needed equipment, and offer helpful programs for patients, senior living residents, staff, and community members. Its Associate Education Fund puts as much as $10,000 annually toward helping Thompson associates attain education and professional certifications. Over the past 10 years, this fund has helped over 50 associates enhance their skills and acquire new training.
