The Between the Lakes Community Service Players present the Tony Award winning musical comedy Something Rotten to benefit the Ovid Fire Department. The show will take place on July 24th, 25th, and 26th at 7:30 pm at the South Seneca High School Auditorium on Main Street in Ovid, NY. A struggling playwright in Elizabethan England seeks out a soothsayer to find out what the next big thing will be in theatre in order to best The Bard, William Shakespeare. But are the 1590s ready for a musical???. This raucous comedy is being produced by the TANYS Award winning Between the Lakes Community Service Players to benefit the Ovid Fire Department to replace equipment lost in January’s downtown Ovid fire.
